  • Citrus zester

  • 4 cups of water
  • 2 hibiscus tea bags
  • 2-3 tbsp rose syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Edible rose petals for garnish optional
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

  • Brewing the Tea: In a pot, bring the water to a boil. Remove from heat and steep the hibiscus tea bags for about 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
  • Mixing: Once cooled, add the rose syrup and lemon juice to the tea. Stir well to combine.
  • Serving: Fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the rose hibiscus tea over the ice. Garnish with edible rose petals and fresh mint leaves.

Notes

For a kid-approved version of this refreshing drink, consider reducing the rose syrup to make it less sweet. You can also introduce a splash of apple or orange juice to the mix, adding a familiar fruity flavor that kids love. Serve in fun glasses with colorful straws and perhaps a slice of orange or apple as garnish to make it visually appealing for the little ones.
